As hybrid cloud implementation has become too complex and challenging for businesses to handle with only their internal IT resources, many are turning to strategic partners for help. Consumption-based as-a-service models offer greater scalability and the ability to pay only for what is used—all while offloading the heavy IT lifting. It’s important to remember that not all vendors are the same.

A hybrid mix of public and private gives organizations the financial benefit of keeping tasks with predictable workloads in their own cloud where costs are more manageable. Applications that are likely to see usage spikes can go in the public cloud where providers have the necessary infrastructure to handle them.
